General Business Related Topics -- Not Creative

Hi Everyone,

This topic is for us to discuss business logistics such as moving forward with recruitment of business staff, formation of LLC, discussions about things like marketing, associations (such as Chris T.'s idea for linking up with Square Enix or the concept of bringing Buoyancy and its staff on board as a second game for the company to produce, and what the logistics of that would entail. For the most part, early in our process, we're going to be focused on the first game and working towards having a great Demo to showcase. But any thoughts as to the next steps after that can be discussed here.

AGENDA FOR UPCOMING MEETING -- Proposals

1) Discussion of the breakdown of what is needed to happen in Q1 and Q2. Up to now we have been prepping ourselves and if we are serious about having the Demo done in 6 months, let's discuss the tasks that need to be completed and break them down into Q1 and Q2 so that we have a definitive list. This list would then be placed in Hack N Plan with a number next to them in terms of chronology, so that the appropriate staffers can grab a task that is "next in line" and create. All Q1 tasks would therefore have a deadline of August 31st, and all Q2 tasks would have a deadline of November 30th, which would be the hopeful deadline for Demo completion. Obviously, very few people would be working during Thanksgiving week, so we might want to extend the Q2 deadline to December 7th.
